Want to become a volunteer?
To keep Explore the North Festival 2026 and Podium Explore running, we need volunteers for many different roles. This includes tasks such as audience guidance, drivers, and runners.
From 20 to 22 November, we’ll be celerbrating Explore the North Festival 2026, our festival filled with surprising performances, concerts, and cultural activities. We transform Podium Explore, the home of Explore the North, along with the rest of Leeuwarden’s city centre, into an adventurous meeting place for creators, stories, and audiences. As a volunteer, you’ll be part of this vibrant period: helping behind the scenes, welcoming visitors, or supporting intimate performances and live shows.
Your help is invaluable for us!
Help us showcase the best art, music, and literature to everyone in our beautiful Leeuwarden, and make the greatest festival in the world a reality with the best group of people ever! With you on board, we can undoubtedly achieve this!
If you have any questions or want to sign up, please send an email to Sander, our volunteer coordinator, at vrijwilligers@explore-the-north.nl or sign up below!
