Leeuwarden City of literature

Together with Leeuwarden City of Literature we organise Hoge Woorden (the stage for spoken word in Friesland), masterclasses in reciting for writers and poets and more

Station Noord

Through Station Noord we mentor artists in their artistic development. We give these artists the chance to showcase their development during Explore the North Festival.

Jonge Schrijvers (Young Writers), the lesson program for the very youngest aspiring writers, is our co-project together with MEEUW Jonge theatermakers. Each year the participants develop performances that are showcased on festivals like Oerol and during our own Explore the North Festival.

Oerol Terschelling

At Oerol festival we have presented our projects and productions for several years now with a multitude of different performances and showcases. As main program items and in our own hub during the festival in the West-End Theater.

Popfabryk

Working with de Popfabryk dates all the way back to the creation of Explore the North as a festival. Every year we present multiple projects like IT DEEL with Popfabryk during the year and at Explore the North Festival

deBuren

Together with our friends from Brussel we co-produce diverse projects build bridges between Flemisch and Frisian makers, to create projects like De Verwonderkamer. Other projects we developed together are Leegstandsproza, BCC (an artistic blinddate) and Citybooks.

Wintertuin

Met Wintertuin maakten we onder meer de productie Dictieland. Ook is Wintertuin een terugkerende gast binnen ons festivalprogramma.

De Harmonie

Dit jaar presenteerden wij onder andere het internationale podiumkunstenfestival PAFFF samen met De Harmonie en Arcadia.

Arcadia

Al sinds 2018 presenteren we onder andere internationale voorstellingen in samenwerking met Leeuwarden-Fryslân 2028 (voorheen 2018).

Zaal 3 (HNT)

Samen met Zaal 3 van het Nationale Theater in Den Haag hebben we bijvoorbeeld een residentie voor de voorstelling LORCA neergezet. Later dit jaar gaat diezelfde voorstelling daar in première. De Poezieboys zijn er vaste gasten.

Tryater

Met Tryater zetten wij momenteel onder andere een masterclass voordragen voor schrijvers neer.

VLAM21

Bij VLAM21 zijn uiteenlopende literaire organisaties aangesloten, verspreid over heel Nederland. Van internationale literatuurfestivals tot educatie, van productiehuizen tot podia of alles onder één dak.

KultuerKollektyf

Wij zijn partner voor de makers Tim Helderman en Thom Boonstra die binnen het ontwikkelingstraject Tweespraak van KultuerKollektyf aan interdisciplinair werk sleutelen.

dBieb

Wij presenteren binnen ons programma in De Stadskas in november verschillende onderdelen met dbieb.

De Verenigde Podiumkunstenfestivals

Een informeel samenwerkingsverband van bijna 70 landelijke festivals. Explore the North draagt hiermee bij aan de werking van festivals de kracht van podiumkunsten.
