Program
The first programme can be found below. We will announce many more artists and projects.

Ambu Bambu
Ambu Bambu’s music tells emotional stories about the urge to belong somewhere, while at the same time being destined to forever float in between. Urgent and rhythmic, with occasional moments of lightness and release, their DJ set spans a rich palette: from breakbeat and bass to dreamy, distorted sounds and idiosyncratic house and techno tracks that are so strange you briefly question their genre.

Byinoar
Jaap van der Velde (also in The Homesick) makes hard-gospel/experimental choirmusic as Byinoar. He uses a vocoder, effects, loopers and a cheap microphone. It sounds like budget Enya on steroids or football hooligans singing folk songs from thefuture.

(…) Centraal
(…) Centraal is a multidisciplinary collective that uses music as a starting point to explore human themes such as nostalgia, growing older, and dealing with the rough edges of life. (…) Centraal makes pop music and currently functions both as a live act with new songs and as an artists’ collective. The home base of (…) Centraal is Utrecht, though its roots still lie somewhere in Drenthe.

Djoeke
There’s no escaping this black-haired Frisian. With her distinctive baroque style, Djoeke is a striking presence — yet it’s above all her voice that captivates. Somewhere between romance and madness, Djoeke flutters melodiously through a world of 90s strings and trip-hop elements. She could easily be the younger stepsister of Lana Del Rey and Portishead. But with themes like womanhood and the longing to feel in a world that itself no longer seems to know what’s real, Djoeke proves herself to be a voice of her generation.

LYS TYGRÉ
LYS TIGRÉ is the two-headed performance art formation of artist/producer christopher404 and theatre-maker/vocalist Alysha Meijboom, partners in life, love, and art. Their performance “Mimicry” explores the entanglement of two worlds that long to merge, despite everything that stands between them. They stand at the intersection of past and present, asking: what do you carry with you into the future? Every performance is unique: theatrical elements are always adapted to the location, ensuring that no experience is ever the same.
