Marieke Ornelis, Mees van Rijswijk, Johannes Lievens & Explore the North - DRIE DAGEN FRIS

A lighthearted, linguistic musical theater show about holding on to something

Literary creators Marieke “earworm” Ornelis, Mees “little hands” van Rijswijk and Johannes “deer driven to death” Lievens refuse to delete during this performance (something they have to do all the time as writers). You get all their concoctions, sing-alongs, rants and other textual blubber on your plate.

In dark political and ecological times, DRIE DAGEN FRIS is curious about the things in which people find a foothold, trying not to fall over themselves. This search for footing is the reason for new texts, scenes, songs and other material. The performances of DRIE DAGEN FRIS offer a light-hearted opening to rethink important topics such as capitalism, gender and work.

Under the title DRIE DAGEN FRIS, literary makers/musicians Mees van Rijswijk, Marieke Ornelis and Johannes Lievens usher in a year of experimentation.Through residencies and performances they will get to know each other, performing literature in all its forms and other performing artists.
