Gaja Caruso is a dancer and choreographer. She grew up in a small town in the Slovenian mountains and draws much of her inspiration from nature, community spirit, storytelling, and rituals. Her work is characterized by the use of play, improvisation, and the creation of immersive, multi-disciplinary performative experiences for both performer and audience.
After her introduction to interdisciplinary theater as member of Club Guy and Roni’s Poetic Disasters Club, she decided to focus on making her own work. Since 2022, she has been part of the Station Noord network, where she created her debut, The Lamb The Fly The Tiger, followed by her first full-length show, Peach Season, and a short on-location show, Crisis of Comfort.
