Attending your own funeral, a utopia according to Leon. Although, arranging your own funeral on your own… It turns out to be quite difficult… The cultural sector turns out to be quite sparse and so Leon Wohlrabe came to the conclusion to look for another job. Originally he wanted to keep control of the stage (and his life; failed). And now he can happily sit back and gloat as a mortician!
In this multidisciplinary show, Leon drags you along broken relationships, narcissists, transgenerational trauma, asking for help in an individualistic time and self-destruction, but above all lots of jokes so that it is bearable for our dearest loved ones during this unforgettable service. Leon’s experimental nature makes you wonder during this absurd show whether to cry, laugh or be dumbfounded; ’tis just what you feel like. Those who like to be surprised in the theater should definitely come and see it.

About Leon Wohlrabe
Leon Wohlrabe (b. 2004) is an emerging Dutch theater producer and artist known for his unique, unconventional approach to art and performance. A self-taught artist, he has built a versatile portfolio that includes theater, film, poetry and performance art. His work is characterized by a mix of absurdist humor, social critiques and personal reflections on themes such as love, mental health and death. He addresses complex themes in accessible and sometimes comical ways.
