Hannan van Rooij

Hannan van Rooij (24) is a stage poet living on the edge of Groningen city. With a bag full of studies in nursing, ethics, religion, and culture under her arm, she now walks the streets trying to turn everyday things into poetry. She writes, among other things, as the neighborhood poet of Vinkhuizen and the resident poet of the University of Groningen. Earlier this year, she already made an impression during Woorden op Woensdag, but now she’s coming to our Kruipdoorsluipdoor program with a collection of brand-new work!
