Douwe Dijkstra presents the first preview of his new performance, a project of Popfabryk. Alexander Moto, storyteller to the core, surprises with raw boombap to subdued cabaret songs in Dutch and Frisian.
What exactly he’s going to do we’ll keep secret for now, but with a second album coming up, he’s always looking for something fresh. Mayte, The Channel and Marit Nygård put you on edge with their musical acts. Nicole van den Berg recites a relatively-long short story (published in the anthology, Uitgesteld Geluk) about two men sitting in an unkempt backyard. Does this not break up your week enough yet?
