Calling on all creatives!
Are you a musician? A writer? Or do you have a story to share? Join us for a collaborative human rights-themed open-mic night where you can explore and show your voice! Organized by Explore the North and Amnesty International Student Group Leeuwarden, we aim to merge culture, creativity, and human rights!
The main language for the evening is English, but you are welcome to share your art in any language. We ask you to keep your contribution to ~5 mins to give everyone the opportunity to share. You have complete free-reign on what you’d like to perform on the night as long as it has a connection to human-rights and is non-discriminatory!
In addition, a band will be present to play a few songs
The spiceguys blend catchy modern pop with the groove of funk and a splash of soul. Think danceable rhythms, smooth vibes, and tunes that make you feel good without taking themselves too seriously. We’re just a bunch of music lovers doing what we love—bringing good energy, live instruments, and a little spice to the stage.
Participants receive two free drinks!
