Carp fishing never had this much swag
Bob Uit Zuid has carved out a unique niche in today’s hip-hop scene. His self-titled debut album, produced by Tim Knol, doesn’t have any computer-created trap rhythms—he skillfully played the bass and guitar himself. With his unique beats and bass drums, Beastie Boys fans will have a blast. One more thing: Bob doesn’t go on and on about bitches and champagne. No, he pens clever lyrics about more meaningful topics, like carp fishing, Volvos, a St. Bernard, and church. Or, he takes aim at those who deserve it in the literary world, from relentless project developers to self-righteous hipsters. His second and racy record, Heilig, released earlier this year, is a must-listen. Get ready for a live band, fuzz guitars, and top-notch linguistic acrobatics.
