Yvonne Zeegers is a writer and playwright. She studied History at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and Gender Studies at the University of Utrecht. For her internship, she did research at the literary production house, Wintertuin, in Nijmegen. After graduating, she developed her own career as a writer and playwright in the literary- and performing-arts. Her earlier creations were exhibited at the Noorderzon Festival, Into the Great Wide Open, and at Toneelschuur Producties Haarlem. Alongside choreographer Gaja Caruso, she made the multi-disciplinary presentation, The Lamb, The Fly, The Tiger (2021) and Peach Season (2023). These productions were on view at the Jonge Harten Festival and Festival Explore the North, among others. Besides her theater work, Yvonne is affiliated with the Creative Writing program at ArtEZ Arnhem.
