De Poezieboys, Jos and Joep, roused theaters and theater festival de Parade, with various shows. They’ve appeared at Podium Explore with their show, PEREC, and they are working on Blabbermouth and LORCA through Explore the North Productions together with poet Joost Oomen. They also organized poetry evenings with young (living!) poets and set up the Poëziebar. Together with a musicians, they bring the best and newest contemporary poetry to audiences, inspired by one legendary and historic evening in Amsterdam’s Carré theater. And of course with the goal: sold-out, sweating, and loud-from-cheering halls — for poetry because, after all, the world can use some Rock & Roll and Poetry.
