Festival month

November is Explore the North's festival month, featuring: De Broeikas, De Stadskas, and the Explore the North Festival weekend. Additionally, we are presenting several special projects in November in collaboration with our partners.

This year, we kick off our festival month on November 2nd with the arts festival De Broeikas, where you can discover what’s brewing among the new generation of artists, musicians, theater makers, writers, and spoken word artists. From November 8th till 24th De Stadskas, the main hub our Explore the North Festival, will again be located at the Oldehoofsterkerkhof. As always, we will conclude our festival month with the Explore the North Festival in the weekend weekend of Friday November 22th until Sunday November 24th.
