Tip of the Year: Nothing Bigger Than Humanity

On Friday 20 February, the group Resonate Productions will come to Podium Explore with their programme Nothing Bigger Than Humanity. Last year the group was scheduled to perform this unique show at our festival, but they were committed to another festival in New York. We’re delighted that we can now finally present this beautiful programme at Podium Explore!

Together, we listen to various recorded interviews about historical events. These are events that are less well known in Europe, yet reveal a great deal about how global power operates. After each audio fragment, the audience is invited to share their own thoughts. These live responses shape the way each performance unfolds: no two gatherings are ever the same. The total duration of the programme is 2.5 hours, but you are free to enter and leave at any time during the performance. We’ll provide drinks and snacks. No prior knowledge of the history featured in the programme is required.
