Step inside Het Huis (The House), a visually rich and imaginative performance that takes you into a world where reality and imagination merge. The performance comes to life through two characters searching for stability in an unpredictable world. Their encounter becomes the starting point of a fragile journey through a world that feels eerily familiar and pleasantly absurd. They have only each other and the driving mirage: salvation! Or is it an illusion? Their bodies dance, wander, search, and stumble through strange, sometimes bizarre places. They eat, play, lose their footing, but keep moving: a quiet rebellion against the feeling of being lost.
Het Huis reveals the raw beauty of a mental and physical quest for meaning, a journey often hidden behind the mask of everyday life. It is a funhouse mirror for our inner struggles, a gesture of comfort, and an invitation for those who sometimes lose themselves in life. For dreamers and wanderers, for anyone who has ever asked: What now? And for anyone who is simply curious.
Noah Janssen takes you, together with An Hackselmans and Peter Vandemeulebroecke, into an imaginative world that leads you to the hidden corners of our existence.
