ABOUT WOMEN – with women (x/f/m)
During ABOUT WOMEN, with women (x/f/m), you’ll get to know feminism in all its shapes and sizes. At these recurring evenings, you’ll discover a new perspective on feminism each time. One time we’ll invite a scientist, another time a writer, a nurse, or a social worker. We’ll introduce you to the Dolle Mina’s (from back then and now) and give you tools to take action yourself—fists raised, but also with arms linked together.
Each edition focuses on a single theme, but we’ll kick off the series with an introduction. Marleen Nagtegaal will share how Susan Sontag’s book About Women opened her eyes, Marieke Ornelis will perform a piece about the allure of a window cleaner, and a Dolle Mina will give tips for practical feminism. This evening marks the beginning of a very long conversation—because we’re also very curious about your views!
