It&#8217;s the moment when possibilities become visible. What thoughts and doubts arise during this so-called &#8220;blue hour&#8221;? In a hushed performance, four lonely souls &#8211; stripped of all fuss &#8211; take us into their personal thoughts, fears and desires. They open up to each other about things they wouldn&#8217;t normally discuss. In <em>Desire<\/em>, they do, and they find out that they&#8217;re actually quite similar. And like us&#8212;if we&#8217;re being totally honest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the solo performance <em>Serenade<\/em> (selected for #nieuwjong by Het TheaterFestival 2021) and the duet <em>Analoog<\/em> with Willem de Wolf\/De HOE (selection for Het TheaterFestival and Nederlands Theater Festival 2023), Louis Janssens has now created the performance, <em>Desire<\/em>, with a group of young queer actors. This minimalist, playful, and personal performance makes the deeply human longing for connection tangible. <em>Desire<\/em> was selected as one of the best Flemish performances of the year at Het Theaterfestival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;They show more than just their bodies.
