Als vertrekken de enige optie is om te kunnen leven, wat betekent vrijheid dan eigenlijk? Misschien is vrijheid geen bestemming, maar de moed om te blijven bewegen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Over de artiest<\/strong><br>Juersson Hermanus is hiphop theatermaker en danser. Zijn werk onderzoekt culturele identiteit, geschiedenis en lichamelijke expressie, diep geworteld in zijn Afro-Cura\u00e7aose achtergrond.\u00a0 Hij werkte onder andere samen met X_YUSUF_BOSS, Club Guy &amp; Roni en het Wabi Sabi Theater, dat met de voorstelling Terecht, waarin Juersson te zien was, een Jonge Zwaan won voor de meest indrukwekkende jeugddansproductie. Met zijn debuutsolovoorstelling Yu di K\u00f2rsou zette hij een krachtige toon, waarin vrijheid, verzet en gemeenschap centraal staan. Deze voorstelling vormde een belangrijk artistiek vertrekpunt voor zijn verdere ontwikkeling.<br><br>Juersson is artistiek leider van het collectief <em>Luango Stories<\/em>, waarmee hij verhalen vertelt die worden gekenmerkt door moed en verbondenheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Momenteel neemt hij deel aan Station Noord, een driejarig ontwikkelingstraject waarin hij zich niet alleen artistiek verdiept, maar ook groeit als maker en artistiek leider. Hier ontwikkelt hij nieuw werk waarin hiphop, traditionele muziek en hedendaagse dans samenkomen.<br><br>Dit project is onderdeel van de Station Noord Hub, waarin Explore the North jaarlijks talentvolle makers uit dit netwerk presenteert binnen de festivalperiode.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"video-media\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Luango Stories (2025)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1oGcr5ud2-A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
