Meeuw jonge theatermakers - Scherven van de Wereld

Tickets via De Harmonie

They wrote powerful protest songs about the right to be who you are

About a life that unravels for lack of a home of one’s own. About racism and its impact. And about everything that grates in a world full of contradictions and war. Four young writers have put into words what moves them, angers them and keeps them awake.

Mats Voshol put their texts to music and put together a four-piece band. So good that you’ll fall in love with them instantly. They created a theatre concert that’s bursting with energy.

Jonge Schrijvers
Jonge Schrijvers is a talent development programme by Explore the North and Meeuw young theatre-makers. Talented young people from Friesland (aged 14–18) are given the opportunity to develop their skills as writers. From time to time, they receive writing assignments, such as for this production, for which they were mentored by songwriters Arnold de Boer and Koen Frijns.
