The show 24/7 reflects on and questions our daily routine. Do we constantly rush from one activity to the next, with days becoming an endless repetition? Or do we dare to stop and pause? In this performance, the dance talents of JDOF challenge the audience to feel, to slow down, and to truly experience the moment — rather than simply letting it pass.
Each choreography represents a two-hour block on the clock, culminating in a full 24-hour day. From the bustle of daytime to the stillness of the night: every hour has its own rhythm and its own story, expressed through a range of dance styles.
About the annual end-of-year show
Every year, JDOF closes the season with a dance performance in the theatre. A highlight of the year for students and audiences alike!
The end-of-year show is a varied performance in which all the dance styles taught at JDOF are featured. The choreographies are created by JDOF’s teachers, and students from all year groups take part. For the students, the end-of-year show is the moment to showcase their artistic and technical development and gain experience on stage.
