Danceable Chaos in a Kitsch Costume

Wrapped in mysterious smoke and hysterical neon glitter outfits, Brik Tu-Tok struts shamelessly across the catwalk of life. Performers Linde Carrijn and Maxim Storms drag you along into their colourful pop universe. The dance floor is a mosaic made up of old-school hip-hop beats, nostalgic synthesizers, brazen poetry and shards of disco ball. Painted faces, blue wigs and mermaid tails complete this freaky little party. Armed with a glue gun and grotesque DIY costumes, they sing You are just a T-shirt baby. But a shirt torn in the mosh pit, smeared with pink lipstick and a filthy statement on it. What might at first feel like a silly parody turns out to be a brazen theatrical trip in which Brik Tu-Tok shows the many faces of the world. Thanks to their catchy lyrics and outrageous getups, the message sticks like pink bubblegum under your platform sole. The brilliant chaos of this Belgian underground phenomenon can only be experienced shamelessly.
